HAGEN, GERMANY, July 15, 2015-U.S. Dressage Team Finishes Seventh at CDIO5* Hagen
On Thursday the Grand Prix Nations Cup presented by Almased Wellness GmbH took place at CDIO5* Hagen. Under the guidance of Chef d’Equipe Christine Traurig, the U.S. team placed seventh against a competitive field to finish with a score of 210.000%.

Charlotte Jorst (Reno, Nev.) and Kastel’s Nintendo, Kastel Denmark’s 12-year-old KWPN stallion, led the U.S. effort with a score of 70.840% in the Grand Prix. Arlene Page (Wellington, Fla.) and her 12-year-old KWPN gelding, Woodstock, received a 69.700% from the judges. Not far behind were Shelly Francis (Loxahatchee, Fla.) and Doktor, Patricia Stempel’s 12-year-old Oldenburg gelding, with a score of 69.460%. Rounding out the U.S. effort were Kathleen Raine and Breanna, Jennifer Mason, David Wightman, and her own 15-year-old Hanoverian mare, scoring 66.320%.

In addition to the team’s performance, Jorst and Kastel’s Adventure, Kastel Denmark’s 10-year-old KWPN gelding, were eighth in the CDI1* Prix St. Georges with a score of 69.500%.

ENCINITAS, CALIFORNIA, June 20, 2015-Christine Traurig Benefit Clinic for Friends of Lisa Blaufuss
Christine Traurig will give a benefit clinic on Friday, July 3rd at Caballos Del Mar for the Friends of Lisa Blaufuss. Christine's friend Lisa was diagnosed in February with a reoccurance of breast cancer, she originally was diagnosed in 2010. Proceeds from the clinic will benefit Friends of Lisa an organization set up by a group of friends to raise money to help defray Lisa's high medical costs for her treatments. LEXINGTON, KENTUCKY, April 4, 2015-USEF appoints Christine Traurig as new U.S. Young Horse Coach
The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) is pleased to announce the appointment of Christine Traurig as the U.S. Dressage Young Horse Coach, pending contract negotiations. "I am so fortunate to have this opportunity of becoming the Young Horse Coach. All my life as a rider, trainer, and horsewoman, my biggest passion has been to develop horses to the best of their athletic abilities. My goal for this program is to make America a country that produces top-quality international horses to field Championship Teams and Junior/Young Rider Teams so that one day we can proudly say: MADE IN AMERICA!" Traurig joins the U.S. Dressage Program led by Robert Dover, USEF Chef d'Equipe/Technical Advisor, which includes Debbie McDonald, U.S. Dressage Developing Coach, George Williams, U.S. Dressage Youth Coach, and Charlotte Bredahl-Baker, Assistant U.S. Dressage Youth Coach. "I am thrilled that Christine has been named as our new Young Horse Coach. She brings enormous talent and years of experience with young horses and top coaching at all levels," said Dover. DEL MAR, California, March 7-9, 2014-Traurig and Louisdor score big at The Dressage Affaire
Christine Traurig Dressage's Louisdor (owned by Christine) won the FEI High Point Award sponsored by Jen and Bruce Hlavacek on Sunday at The Dressage Affaire show in Del Mar. The Hlavacek's FEI High Point Award offered a $500 cash prize to the highest scoring FEI rider each day of the show. The pair also went on to win the FEI Open High Point for the Show weekend too

DEL MAR, California, August 10-11, 2013-Traurig and Louidor achieve wins at CDS San Diego Summer Show
Christine Traurig Dressage's Louisdor (owned by Christine) and Aristotle (owned by Janet Balmuth) came home winners from the CDS San Diego Summer show held at Del Mar Horsepark August 10-11th. Saturday, Aristotle won the Intermediare II with a 69.342%. On Sunday, Louisdor won the Intermediare 1 with a 74.210%. Aristotle by Don Schufro is offered for sale. LEXINGTON, Kentucky, December 19, 2012-Traurig joins the new Dressage High Performance Committee
The New Dressage High Performance Committee was announced by the U.S. Equestrian Federation Wednesday with new leadership and a return to active involvement by six-time Olympian Robert Dover.

Janet Foy of Colorado Springs, Colorado and an International Equestrian Federation 4* judge was appointed chairman of the High Performance Committee to replace George Williams whose tenure expired after two four-year terms. He will remain as a member as an elected eligible athlete.

The High Performance Committee, powerful for its role in crafting policy and structure of United States team programs and activities, comprises 11 members, of whom six are new. Three members are Eligible Athletes that are elected by their peers.
